"I have gained far more from the board building process than the final product of an amazing board that is truly a joy to surf. I now have skills and confidence using a range of tools and gained patience, problem solving and different thought processes that are all transferrable to everyday aspects of life, all of which I wasn’t expecting from the whole experience. After a day of building or shaping in the workshop I left with such a great feeling of achievement and excitement for the next visit. Gregs teaching through the shaping process and explanation on how rail shapes and surfaces affect a board and its performance was outstanding and really gives an appreciation of the science involved with surfboards and its interaction with the wave. It’s these great experiences and the sheer enjoyment I get that keeps bringing me back, I’m now on my third board!”
